Manchester City's Comeback Victory Closes Gap on Liverpool in Title Race

Manchester City closed the gap to leaders Liverpool with a 3-1 comeback victory over neighbours Manchester United at Etihad Stadium. Phil Foden scored two goals and Erling Haaland also found the back of the net. Marcus Rashford gave Manchester United an early lead with a sensational strike, but City responded strongly and dominated the game. Foden equalized with a powerful shot from outside the box, and later scored the winning goal with a well-executed finish. Haaland sealed the victory with a goal in stoppage time. The result keeps City in second place, just one point behind Liverpool, while United remains in sixth place. City will now focus on their UEFA Champions League match against FC Copenhagen before facing Liverpool in a crucial title clash. United will host Everton in their next match.
