Sergio Reguilon jokingly refers to Michael Owen as his 'dad' after noticing resemblance with Owen's son

Sergio Reguilon humorously referred to Michael Owen as his 'dad' after noticing a similarity between himself and Owen's teenage son, James. Owen shared a photo of himself and James on social media to celebrate James' 18th birthday. The picture showed them standing outside the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, with Owen expressing his pride in his son's growth. Reguilon, upon seeing the photo, jokingly commented, 'Dad?' Many others also observed the resemblance between James and Reguilon in the picture. It is worth noting that James had aspirations of becoming a footballer like his father, but his dreams were shattered when he was diagnosed with Stargardt disease, a genetic condition that causes vision loss. Despite his condition, James has shown resilience and has spoken openly about his experience. Owen has been supportive of his son throughout his journey with the disease.
