Nominees for January 2024's Barclays Manager of the Month Award Revealed

The nominees for January 2024's Barclays Manager of the Month award have been revealed. The shortlist includes Mikel Arteta, Rob Edwards, Pep Guardiola, and Jurgen Klopp. Fans have the opportunity to vote for their favorite manager until 12:00 GMT on Monday, February 12. The winner will be determined by combining the fans' votes with those of a panel of football experts. The announcement of the winner will be made next week.

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal): Arteta led Arsenal to two wins in January, maintaining pressure on league leaders Liverpool. The Gunners secured a 5-0 victory against Crystal Palace and a 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest.

Rob Edwards (Luton): Edwards guided Luton Town to an unbeaten month, earning four points out of a possible six. The highlight of the month was a 4-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, Luton's biggest ever victory in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola (Man City): Guardiola achieved a perfect record in January, with two wins out of two matches. Manchester City secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback win against Newcastle United and defeated Burnley, managed by Guardiola's former captain Vincent Kompany.

Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool): Klopp's Liverpool played three matches in January and won all three. The team's response to Klopp's announcement of leaving Anfield at the end of the season was emphatic. Liverpool defeated Newcastle, AFC Bournemouth, and Chelsea, scoring four goals in each match and ending the month at the top of the table.

The Barclays Manager of the Month award winners for the 2023/24 season so far are Ange Postecoglou (August, September, and October), Erik ten Hag (November), and Unai Emery (December).
