Manchester City vs Brentford: Premier League Clash at Etihad Stadium Not Televised

Manchester City and Brentford fans will be disappointed to learn that their Premier League clash will not be televised. The match, which will take place at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, is an important one for both teams. City will be looking to bounce back from a 1-1 draw with Chelsea and regain their position at the top of the table, while Brentford, who are just five points above the relegation zone, will be hoping for a surprise result.

Unfortunately, fans in the UK will not be able to watch the game on TV. None of the major broadcasters, including Sky Sports, TNT Sports, and Amazon Prime Video, have chosen to broadcast the match. This decision was made because the fixture was originally scheduled during the period when City were away on Club World Cup duty.

This news will be particularly frustrating for football fans who have paid for subscriptions to all three Premier League broadcasters, as they will miss out on a highly anticipated match. However, there is some good news for the future. Starting from 2025, all matches that fall outside the Premier League's 3pm blackout will be televised.

In their previous meeting just over two weeks ago, City emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Brentford. However, Brentford had previously caused an upset at the Etihad Stadium, defeating City 2-1 in November 2022 with a 98th-minute winner from Ivan Toney.
