Injury Updates: Partey, Jesus, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, and Timber

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided updates on the injury status of several key players. Thomas Partey, who has been out since October due to thigh surgery, suffered a setback in his recovery last month. Arteta emphasized the importance of determining the right time for Partey to return to competitive action. Although Partey trained with the first-team before the recent match against Porto, his involvement in the upcoming game against Newcastle is uncertain. Arteta stated that Gabriel Jesus is facing a similar situation with a knee injury, while Oleksandr Zinchenko is nearing a return after being sidelined since halftime against Liverpool. Additionally, Takehiro Tomiyasu is currently sidelined with a calf injury, but there is hope that Jurrien Timber, a long-term absentee, may still be able to contribute before the end of the season.
