Former Chelsea Midfielder Ramires: A Transformation and Memorable Moments

Former Chelsea midfielder Ramires, who spent six years playing for the club between 2010 and 2016, now looks completely different from his playing days in England. A recent photo of Ramires in his homeland of Brazil shows him with a full head of hair, a stark contrast to his bald appearance while at Stamford Bridge. The picture also reveals the tattoos that cover both of his arms, which were rarely visible during his career.

Ramires is best remembered for his memorable chip goal in the second leg of Chelsea's 2012 Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. After falling 2-0 down and having a player sent off, Ramires scored a stunning lob to bring his team back into the contest. Chelsea went on to win the final against Bayern Munich, although Ramires was unable to play due to suspension.

In addition to his Champions League heroics, Ramires also scored the opening goal in Chelsea's 2-1 FA Cup final win against Liverpool in the same season. He later left Chelsea in 2016 to join Chinese club Jiangsu Suning in a £25m deal. After three years in China, Ramires finished his career at Palmeiras. He recently returned to Stamford Bridge to play in a charity match in honor of Gianluca Vialli, a former Chelsea striker and manager who passed away last January.
