This rescheduling comes shortly after train cancellations disrupted Chelsea fans' travel plans for the away match against Manchester City. Additionally, the Sheffield half-marathon taking place on the same afternoon is expected to make travel challenging for fans. Prior to the match against Sheffield United, Chelsea will face Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in an 8:15pm kick-off, while the Blades will be away to Liverpool with a 7:30pm start. Chelsea's busy schedule also includes matches against Brentford, Newcastle, and a quarter-final FA Cup fixture against Leicester. The match against Arsenal in the league has been postponed due to cup commitments. After the international break, Chelsea will host Burnley before their game at Bramall Lane.
