British Billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe to Assume Control of Football Operations and Increase Ownership Stake

British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe will assume control of football operations once the deal is finalized. As part of the agreement, Ratcliffe will also have the first option to purchase additional Class B shares from the Glazer family, the current owners of the club. This gives Ratcliffe the opportunity to increase his ownership stake in the future, should the Glazers decide to sell more shares.
