Brentford boss Thomas Frank has made one change to his starting lineup for the match against Liverpool. Kristoffer Ajer replaces Ethan Pinnock in defense. Frank Onyeka and Yoane Wissa are named on the bench after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations. Ivan Toney, who has scored three goals in four games, starts in attack alongside Neal Maupay.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made two changes to his team. Trent Alexander-Arnold is out due to injury, and Conor Bradley takes his place at right-back. Ibrahima Konate returns from suspension and starts in defense. Caoimhin Kelleher continues in goal, as Alisson Becker is reportedly sidelined with a hamstring problem.
